Best tender alert services in India compared: TenderTiger, BidAssist, Tender247, TenderDetail, Tendersniper (2026)

A side-by-side of India's tender information services: coverage, alert channels, per-document pricing, analytics, and the complaints users raise most, so you can pick a feed and stop over-paying.

By DotZero Research

Quick answer. If you want the cheapest reliable feed with WhatsApp alerts, start with BidAssist. If you want analytics on who else bids and at what price, TenderDetail or Tendersniper. TenderTiger and Tender247 are the long-established names; check current reviews, because the recurring complaints are keyword noise and repeated tenders. Whatever you pick, budget ₹3,000 to ₹30,000 a year and expect to add your own eligibility screen.

Pricing below is from vendor pages as of October 2026 and is indicative. Some vendors publish conflicting prices on different pages; confirm before paying.

What they all have in common

Every service above answers one question: does a tender with these words exist? None answers the one that matters: can we win it? That requires knowing your average turnover, your largest similar work, your certifications and OEM letters, your EMD appetite and your geography, and reading each notice’s eligibility clauses against them. Review sites for these services repeat the same three complaints: too many irrelevant alerts, the same tender sent repeatedly, and no help with eligibility or documents.

How to get value from an aggregator

  1. Narrow the keywords brutally. Product names and HSN-like phrases, not categories.
  2. Restrict geography to states where you can execute and have registrations.
  3. Export, do not read. Pull the daily feed into a sheet or a system that applies your eligibility profile.
  4. Track the ones you pursue separately. Corrigenda, pre-bid queries and date changes are where bids are lost, and most aggregators are weak at them.

When to add a tender desk

If you bid on more than ten tenders a month, or across more than three portals, the hours spent screening and assembling exceed the cost of an eligibility layer and document vault. We wrote about what that looks like in best AI tools for tender filing, and the tender desk demo shows a scored feed on sample data. Keep your aggregator; it becomes the raw input.

Frequently asked

Do I need an aggregator if I bid only on GeM?
GeM sends bid and reverse-auction notifications to registered sellers in their categories. If GeM is your only portal, those plus a daily look at the bid list may be enough. Aggregators earn their fee when you also watch CPPP, state portals or PSUs.
Why do aggregator alerts feel like spam?
They match keywords in titles, so 'computer' matches a tender for computer stationery. None of them know your turnover, certifications or geography. Expect to discard most alerts, or add an eligibility layer on top.
Is government tender data free?
The notices are public on each portal. Aggregators charge for collecting them in one place and alerting you. Several users on review sites object to paying for public data; the value is time saved, not access.
