nProcure (Gujarat e-Tendering by (n)Code Solutions)

Gujarat government departments, boards, corporations, municipal corporations, DISCOMs, dairies, ports and universities tender goods and works on a portal run by (n)Code Solutions (a GNFC division), which is not NIC GePNIC-based.

How to register

1On tender.nprocure.com click New User and create a user ID, password (8-25 characters), email ID and secret question.
2Fill Step 1 Primary Contact Information and Step 2 Business Details (enter N.A. in non-mandatory fields) and submit.
3Click Active Account on the final page or in the activation email, then enter your user ID and password.
4Click Select Certificate, choose the Class 3 signing certificate from the token, enter the eToken password and click Active.
5Pay the portal charges via Pay Portal Charges; the same login works for every department, board and nigam on nProcure.

Fees and EMD

A portal registration charge is payable through the Pay Portal Charges option before the account is usable, but the amount is not published on the public pages read (see notes). Tender processing fee and EMD are fixed per tender and shown as Processing Fee and EMD fields in the tender search.

Digital signature

A Class 3 DSC combo with separate Signing and Encryption certificates under the Indian Root CA chain, in the name of the organisation or individual; (n)Code Solutions is itself a licensed CA and bidders may use any CCA-licensed CA.

Things that catch bidders out

You need both a signing and an encryption certificate (Class 3 combo); a signing-only token used elsewhere will not work here.
The account activates only after the DSC is mapped and portal charges are paid; one user ID then serves all departments, boards and nigams on nProcure.
Minimum setup is Windows 8.1 or higher, JRE 1.8+, the 32/64-bit PKI component, administrator rights and Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
Older tenders live on client sub-domains (for example ggl.nprocure.com for tenders before 01.01.2024) while new ones are on tender.nprocure.com.
Helpdesk is closed on 2nd and 4th Saturdays and public holidays, and scheduled maintenance windows are announced on the home page.
